JUST IN: Nigeria Reports 10 New COVID-19 Cases As Pandemic Tolls 224

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported ten new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.

According to a tweet via its verified Twitter handle, six cases were reported in Lagos, two cases in Edo, while two were reported in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

A new death was also reported, bringing the total to five.

“Ten new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo,” the centre tweeted.

“As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.”
