Notorious bandit leader Auwalun Daudawa, who led the abduction of over 300 Government Science Secondary School Kankara, Katsina State, has been confirmed killed.
ALEDEH News gathered that Daudawa was killed on Friday evening while in a rival fight at Dumburum forest located between Zurmi Local Government in Zamfara State and Batsari Local Government in Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria.
Before his death, the bandit leader had laid down his arms and accepted Governor Bello Matawalle’s peace initiative on February 8.
He surrendered 20 AK-47 rifles, 20 Magazines, one General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG), one Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) and several ammunitions to the Zamfara State government on the day he repented with five of his comrades.

In retaliation, some people recognised as Ballolo’s boys around the area organised and killed him too.
While Daudawa’s gang succeeded in killing some persons in the opposing gang, their leader was gunned down.
