Kidnappers have released one of the abducted students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State, Northern Nigeria.
Mother of the student, Lauritta Attahiru confirmed the development to reporters on Tuesday. She, however, did not give further details on how her son was released.
ALEDEH News had reported that the kidnappers stormed the institution on April 18 and abducted some students.
Five of the students have been killed as the State Government is yet to confirm the exact number of students that are in captivity.
Meanwhile, there reports that the kidnappers threatened to kill the victims if their demands are not met.
