Legendary Brazilian right back, Dani Alves became the first player to win a record high, 40 trophies when he led his Le Seleçao to their 9th Copa America title.
Alves, who featured notably for Sevilla, Barcelona and PSG in his career was voted as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
Alves who left PSG at the and of last season won the UEFA Champions League 3 times with Barcelona, the UEFA Europa League twice, the Supercup 4 times and the Club World Cup three times.
He also won the La Liga 6 times, the Super Cup 5 times, the Copa Del Rey 5 times. His sojourn in Italy also saw him winning one Serie A title and an Italian Cup. He won two French Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint Germain, the French Super Cup twice, a French Cup, one French League Cup, two Copa America titles and two Confederation Cup titles.
Alves is known for his swift attacking runs and an understanding if the game that’s greatly admired by all and has seen him some of the world’s best teams.
