Mr Eazi: You Can Still Become An Upcoming Artiste If We Ignore Your Music- Nigerians Blast Singer

Nigerians on micro blogging site, Twitter, have berated singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade popularly known as Mr Eazi, for saying Nigerian artistes copy his Ghanaian sound, a shade suspected to be targeted at fellow singer, Runtown.

The Banku music recorder claims he is the pioneer of songs with the mixture of Ghana and Nigerian sounds.

While applauding the Nigerian community for quickly embracing his Style of music, Eazi added that most of the top Afrobeats and African songs are all a mix of Ghana and Nigerian sounds.

His words: “The speed at which I’ve moved is scary to me…cause it took my contemporaries 5, 6 years,”

“And that is what has been this year, if you want to count like 5 afrobeat, it’s like everybody just realized that ‘yo what formula is Mr Eazi using?’ Ok we’re gonna end up doing it”.

“December last year almost 60% of Nigerian artiste were in Ghana”, Eazi told Capital Xtra.

Apparently displeased with his claims that he pioneered the mixture of Ghana and Nigerian sounds, Nigerians took to Twitter to blast the singer with many advising him to keep his head cool as he could become an upcoming artiste again should the fans decide to ignore his music.
