Nigeria Football Federation has released a calendar that will guide the programmes of the Super Eagles in 2018 in order to have a fruitful outing in Russia.
Nike, official football kits sponsors of Nigerian national teams will unveil the Super Eagles 2018 World Cup jersey on the 7th of February while the team has been promised at least five top notch friendlies to put the players in top conditions and enhance the cohesion in the team.
The Super Eagles will have the first phase of camping at Uyo where they are expected to face the national team of the Democratic Republic of Congo before leaving to play a friendly against the Polish national team on the 23rd of match. The Super Eagles had also been lined up to face the Three Lions of England on the 2nd of June and will also face Czech while a June 9 date has been set for the team against a yet-to-be known country.
This is the calendar below, stipulating the key dates for the Super Eagles in 2018.
7th February: NIKE to launch official kit in London
23rd March: Friendly Vs Poland in Warsaw
27th March: Friendly Vs Serbia in London
22nd May – 30th May: First Phase Camping in Abuja/Uyo
28th May: Friendly Vs DR Congo in Abuja/Uyo
2nd June: Friendly Vs England in London. (Same night, Sponsors/Partners event in London)
3rd – 11th June: Second Phase camping in Austria
6th June: Friendly Vs Czech Republic in Austria
9th June: Friendly Vs TBC in Austria
From 11th June: Close camp at team base camp in Yessentuki
