Nigeria’s daily COVID-19 cases have significantly declined as the nation records 18 new infections on Monday.
The fresh cases were reported from five State; Lagos-8, FCT-6, Edo-2, Rivers-1 and Ogun-1, according to data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC noted that 10 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres in the country, adding that no death was recorded in the day under review.
As of 3rd of May, 2021, Nigeria’s total confirmed COVID cases hit 165,199; 155,371 recoveries and 2,063 deaths.
In the same vein, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) disclosed that Nigeria 1,236,815 persons have been vaccinated against the virus in Nigeria.
