Nigeria Records 69 New COVID-19 Cases
Aledeh News reports that Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases has increased by 69, making a total of 165,778 confirmed cases in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily report on Monday, May 17, 2021.
Here’s the breakdown of today’s report:
Ondo (35), Lagos (30), Rivers (3) and FCT (1)
NCDC stated that today’s report includes:
•Data from Lagos State recorded over the last two days
•Data from Ondo State recorded from April 27 to May 16, 2021

However, a total of 2,067 persons have lost their lives to the infection while 156,415 have recovered and have been discharged.
Meanwhile, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) stated that its team has vaccinated a total of 1,823,095 persons across the country.
