COVID-19 cases in Nigeria continue to drop as the nation recorded 34 new cases on Tuesday and zero death for the eight consecutive days.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update on the outbreak, said no recovery was recorded in the last 24 hours.
NCDC noted that the fresh cases were report in four Nigerian States; Enugu-19, Lagos-13, FCT-1 and Kaduna-1.
Till date, a total of 165,215 cases have been registered in Nigeria which includes 155,371 recoveries and 2,063 deaths.
Nigeria has also vaccinated a total of 1,246,845 persons across 36 States of the Federation, according to a report released by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
