Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rise to 165,807 on Tuesday with 29 new infections.

ALEDEH News reports that five recovered COVID-19 patients were discharged from various isolation centres in the country and no death was recorded.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily update on Coronavirus.

According to the NCDC, the fresh infections were reported in two Nigerian States; Lagos-18 and Rivers-11.

Nigeria, as of 18th May 2021, discharged a total of 156,420 patients while 2,067 persons died of complications.

Similarly, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has so far vaccinated 1,842,437 persons across the country.
