Ogun Violence: APC Vows To Punish Amosun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to punish the perpetrators and sponsors of the ruckus that happened at the Presidential campaign in Abeokuta.

Flags of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) were seen being hoisted by people believed to be working on the instructions of Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

The Ogun State Governor supervised the pulling down of placards and posters of the APC Governorship candidate in the state, Senator Dapo Abiodun.

In the event that was the nadir of the violence shown in Abeokuta on Monday, President Buhari was stoned by hoodlums as he raised the hand of Sen. Abiodun as the party’s candidate.

In a statement by Lanre Issa Onilu, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, he said it is a disgraceful act that calls for swift actions as he promised that sponsors of the act will be duly punished.
