Osinbajo To Represent Nigeria At Uganda’s President Museveni’s Inauguration

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo will represent President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday at the swearing-in ceremony of Yoweri Museveni as Uganda President.

Osinbajo will join several other Heads of State and Government at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala, the nation’s capital city.

The Vice President departed Lagos on Tuesday evening for Kampala and he is expected back in the country later tomorrow, Wednesday.

He  would be accompanied by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, and the Special Adviser on Economic Matters to the President, Ambassador Adeyemi Dipeolu.

Earlier today, Osinbajo participated at the resumed National Security Council meeting presided over by the President at the Presidential Villa before he traveled to Lagos for a tour of the manufacturing facility of SecureID,  one of the three smart card manufacturing companies in Africa.
