The Oyo State Government has rebuilt musician and broadcaster, Yinka Ayefele’s music house, more than four months after it was demolished.
This was revealed in an Instagram post by Ayefele where he sent his message of appreciation to Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi. ”Thank you sir. We appreciate you” he wrote.
In a card designed on his Instagram handle, the message read; “The management and staff of Yinka Ayefele Limited is using this medium to thank his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi for rebuilding the music house.”
The state government had destroyed Ayefele’s music house over allegations of failing to go by the state housing rules.
Ayefele outrightly denied the allegations and said the location of the property was approved by the government before embarking upon its construction.
According to Ayefele, the building is worth N800million and stands for his toil of 20 years.
The musician’s fans had called for Ajimobi’s head, as they said the move was needless and had ulterior motives behind it.
The music house contains Ayefele’s radio station and his music studio.
