POLICE ARRAIGN NCPC BOSS AKOH, OTHERS IN COURT
The Nigerian Police Force (NPF), has arraigned the National Commandant of the Peace Corps (NCPC), Dr. Dickson Akoh before Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Abuja Federal High Court.
Akoh was arraigned alongside other senior officers of the corps on Monday, March 21 before an Abuja division of the Federal High Court..
Recall that the Peace Corps boss had on Sunday, March 20, turned himself in at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command of the Nigeria police, after been told that the police were looking for him.
He was said to have arrived Abuja at about 5:40pm from where he has been receiving traditional treatment for ulcer and pile.
On his arrival, the Peace Corps boss had a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of CID, officer in charge of the SARS and DC of SARS.
He was however detained at the headquarters of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), Abuja after the meeting.
