#politicalstewng: After A Year Hiatus, Sulaiman Aledeh Returns With New Tv Show “Political Stew”

After a year’s hiatus, ace broadcast-journalist and publisher of Nigeria’s burgeoning online integrated media platform, ALEDEH (www.aledeh.com), Sulaiman Aledeh is back on television.

The seasoned broadcast journalist and media entrepreneur is coming back on television with a new show “Political Stew”.

Political Stew is a “live talk show that brings the people abreast of daily political happenings in Nigeria and around the world”, a brief bio of the show published on its Twitter page @politicalstewng read.

The new TV talk show is coming at a time the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC released timetable for the 2019 general elections in Nigeria and also Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has declared for the second term.

This online news platform recalls that Mr Aledeh, a seasoned broadcaster, left Channels television in March 2017. On the 26th of that same month, which was his birthday, Sulai as he is fondly called, launched an integrated online platform ALEDEH (www.aledeh.com).

Before his experience with Channels television, Mr Aledeh presented programmes for radio and television like A.M Lagos, the flagship breakfast show for Radio Nigeria – making him the station’s most prolific serving presenter.

During his stint with Channels television, Sulai made headlines with his colleagues covering two major national elections in Nigeria in 2011 and 2015.

Apart from his daily show Sunrise Daily, Mr Aledeh has been seen on Politics Today, State of the Nation and the Station’s flagship News at 10.

Sulai handled political programmes and also made daily news and current affairs for Channels television.

The broadcaster had a short stint with Arise television before he resigned to focus fully on his online platform, ALEDEH (www.aledeh.com) which has since become a one-stop news portal for many.

However, owing to his love for television, Sulai has now returned with a new talk show “Political Stew” which is expected to set the pace for “political discourse” ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria.

Though it is believed that all is set for the new show, Sulai however, refused to mention the television station that the show will be aired when he gave a hint about the show on Twitter.

“Coming Soon To Your #1 Tv Station… Click to follow your all brand new tv show Political Stew (@politicalstewng)”, Mr Aledeh wrote on Twitter, leaving his fans with no clue on which station will air the much anticipated political talk show.

Like Sulai, a poll was also created by @politicalstewng, asking the people to guess the television station that will air the show.

“Political Stew debuts soon. Can you guess on which Nigerian Television station this show will air?” it tweeted.
