President Muhammadu Buhari and former President, Olusegun Obasanjo shared a smile as they shook hands in Addis Ababa, capital city of Ethiopia.
President Obasanjo had written a thought-provoking open letter to the Nigerian President last Tuesday advising him to quit after the and of this term as Nigeria has not made worthy progress under him.
Photojournalists present took pictures of the two together as the crowd were joyous to see them all smiles despite the turbulence caused by the scathing letter.
General Abdulsalam Abubakar, a former Head of State later joined the pair to take pictures. Buhari and Obasanjo were reported to have spoken for two minutes before going their separate ways.
