Abubakar gave the plea in a statement issued on Thursday by the Deputy Secretary General of the NSCIA, Prof. Salisu Shehu.
The Sultan expressed concerns about the raising insecurity, deaths, tensions, fear and confusion in country.
He called on the governments at all levels to redouble their efforts in protecting lives and properties of Nigerians.

“The Council prays Almighty Allah to accept our supplications and grant us all the blessing of Ramadan.”
