Jude Ojegwu, father of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has finally made peace with his daughter’s husband, Ned Nwoko.
Recall that Ojegwu had opposed the marriage of the young actress and her 59-year-old husband.
“Whatever is ongoing is not to my knowledge and without my consent. Her mother Rita daniel is threading on a dangerous path and I hope she will retrace her steps,” he had said.
However, Ojegwu was present during Regina Daniels’ baby’s christening on Friday.
According to him, he made peace with Nwoko following the birth of his grandson.
The 19-year-old actress and her politician husband welcomed a baby boy two weeks ago.
“The birth of this child has answered the question (about the controversy); everybody craves for peace, joy, and happiness. I have accepted everything.
“I feel very happy having a grandchild and that is why I am here. I travelled all the way from Lagos to this place just to celebrate with the family.
“I told him (Nwoko) and the mother to call him Ifechukwude which means what God has written,” Regina Daniels’ father said.
