La Seleçao skipper and PSG attacking midfielder, Neymar reportedly earns 3.1m Euros in the French capital club, according to FootballLeaks. The mercurial Brazilian whose performances at the Parc Des Princes have left their fans asking for more is now the second-highest earning footballer in the world behind fellow South American and former Argentine International, Carlos Tevez whose massive pay packet at Shanghai Shenhua dwarfs that of any other footballer on the planet.
The former FC Barcelona player, as it has been revealed is earning above €3m a month in his €222m world-record deal with PSG. Neymar, who was just recently alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the three nominees for the FIFA Player of the Year awards has an addition to his earnings as a result of being the image of the Paris-based club, according to a report which was released this weekend.
According to FootballLeaks, Neymar earns over €3m every month and that sums up to over €36m per annum, a little below Tevez’s mammoth €38.3m in the Chinese Super League within the same period.
To break down what Neymar earns into smaller figures; that results into the Brazilian taking home €100,000 a day, €4000 an hour and a staggering €66 every minute of the period of his stay in France.
Neymar is expected to lead the Paris Club to a UEFA Champions League glory in the continent and a domestic success in the French Ligue 1.
