Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday announced the indefinite suspension of the proposed reopening of churches and mosques.
Recall that the Governor had on June 4, 2020, said that churches and mosques in the state can start services this weekend.
He had said Muslim services will resume on 19th June while Christian worship begins on the 21st of June, 2020.
However, on Tuesday, Sanwo-Olu made a u-turn following the increasing cases of COVID-19.
A new date has not been announced as at the time of filing this report.
