The Peoples Democratic Party is set to hold a national conference Sunday in Agwu local government council, Enugu State.
According to a statement released by the party all members and well wishers are invited as the conference is aimed at strengthening the party especially in Enugu ahead of 2019 elections.
Meanwhile, All Progressives Congress, APC Chairman in Enugu State, Ben Nwoye has said the conference is aimed at deceiving the public.
Nwoye alleged that APC was hinted that PDP had purchased brooms in large quantity to stage defection of APC members.
Recall that former governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime recently defected to APC. The development has been criticised by many alleging that he defected to escape being probed by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
