National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has donated the sum of N200m to the Lagos State government and the NCDC.
Tinubu, who celebrated his 68th birthday on Saturday disclosed the donation today as his contribution to the fight against COVID-19.
With the latest donation, former Lagos State Governor has joined a host of eminent Nigerians who have contributed to the fight against the pandemic.
Recall Dangote, Otedola, Jim Ovia and a host of other Nigerians donated to the federal government’s aim to properly manage and get rid of the pandemic in Nigeria.
On Saturday, Tinubu called for the immediate suspension of the Value Added Tax (VAT) by the Federal government while he also asked the government to increase the naira notes printed.
