Nigerian troops have arrested some Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) supporters in multiple operations.
Nigerian troops of Sector II led by Major Daniel Chiwar, nabbed the collaborators, including logistics suppliers.
Chiwar is the Acting Commander of 154 Taskforce.
The troops located in Damaturu axis of Yobe, North-eastern Nigeria found the suspects in their hideout at Bulamari area of Ngamdu in Borno State of the same region.
Huge containers of petroleum products supplied to the insurgents were recovered.
In a related development, soldiers engaged Boko Haram, with several gun trucks, at Rann in the Kala Balge area of Borno State during the weekend.
The troops, led by Lt. Colonel Samson Olashegbe of 3 Battalion, killed some of the terrorists, destroyed some of their trucks, and recovered others.
According to the military, the successes were recorded after intelligence from civilians.
Last week, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru renamed Operation Lafiya Dole, the ongoing counter-insurgency operation in the northeast, to Operation Hadin Kai.
