Jimmy Kimmel Live! is an American late-night show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, which airs on ABC
The host of the show weighed in on the rumours making the rounds that the President was actually a clone named Jubril from Sudan.
These allegatons have been largely denied by President Muhammadu Buhari who urged the public to disregard the clone allegations.
During the live show, series of tweets from the President debunking the rumours were shared amidst a barrel of laughs.
Kimmel then shared the abridged version of the show on twitter and asked “Is Nigerian President Buhari a clone”?

Consequently, Abike Dabiri, Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora responded to claims on twitter that the joke is denigrating saying,
“Cracking up on @JimmyKimmelLive joke on the issue of @MBuhari cloning. Jimmy is a comedian . His source of livelihood. The joke is to the stupid for even believing in the cloning narrative at all , not on PMB @Omojuwa @segalink . Won’t waste energy on this . That’s all”
