Report reaching ALEDEH has it that an explosion has just occurred in Molai axis, Damboa road at the outskirts of Maiduguri, Borno state, Northeast Nigeria.
ALEDEH gathered from a reliable source that five suicide bombers, a male and four females suspected to be members of the Boko-Haram insurgents, had gathered under a tree waiting for darkness to move into Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state before the male carrier’s bomb went off killing all the five carriers.
Meanwhile the development is coming three days after five bombs went off within the security office and the University of Maiduguri environment.
ALEDEH recalls that the attack left no fewer than thirteen (13) dead and about thirty two (32) people injured.
The bombs which exploded between 10:30 and 11:30pm on Sunday night, injured eight (8) children and twenty four (24) adults.
